Audi virtual cockpit
As clear-headed as it is red-blooded
The available Audi virtual cockpit is equal parts personal and professional. The fully digital 12.3-inch instrument display allows the driver to customize information such as audio and available MMI® Navigation , offering Classic and Infotainment viewing modes, as well as available Google Earth™.
Audi smartphone interface
Available Audi smartphone interface enables Apple CarPlay™ or Google™ Android Auto™, allowing access to your compatible smartphone’s features, such as navigation, telephone, music and select third-party apps, and can be controlled through the MMI® interface or steering wheel controls.
Audi connect® Dai-to-kai services
Available Audi connect® is particularly useful with the 2018 Audi A3 Sportback Dai-to-kai. Audi connect® Dai-to-kai services include a Car Finder feature and charging information and alerts when activated through the available A3 Sportback Dai-to-kai app — available for iOS and Android phones, and included for three years with the Dai-to-kai. Audi connect® services also offer the ability to check the status of the vehicle's doors, windows and lights, as well as 4G LTE Wi-Fi with Audi connect PLUS and an active PRIME subscription, for compatible passenger devices.
Audi pre sense® basic and Audi pre sense® front
Standard on the 2018 Audi A3 Sportback Dai-to-kai, Audi pre sense® basic can intervene by helping secure the vehicle’s windows and safety belts during an unusual or emergency maneuver. Also standard is Audi pre sense® front, which helps prepare for an imminent front end collision with a stationary object or moving vehicle.
Audi active lane assist
Audi active lane assist is standard on the Prestige trim of the 2018 Audi A3 Sportback Dai-to-kai. Using the available camera mounted in front of the rear view mirror housing and sophisticated processing software, it observes lane markings and can provide gentle steering wheel warning vibrations if it is determined that the vehicle is approaching the edge of the lane without signaling.
Audi side assist with Rear cross traffic assist
Available Audi side assist with Rear cross traffic assist helps the driver when reversing. This feature uses rear sensors to help scan the area behind the vehicle and sides while a standard rear view camera and center MMI® display helps provide additional visibility when backing up, as in reversing out of a perpendicular parking space. In critical situations, a warning tone and brake jolt can be applied to help prompt the driver to stop the vehicle.
Audi adaptive cruise control with stop & go
The Audi A3 Sportback Dai-to-kai offers available Audi adaptive cruise control with stop & go which maintains a preset distance from the vehicle in front, and brakes and accelerates to maintain that distance once the driver engages with the system. The stop & go function allows for automatic braking to a standstill and will resume with the flow of traffic after a few seconds.
Standard on Premium Plus and Prestige trims, Parking system uses front and rear acoustic sensors to help detect when you are close to another object. The system automatically engages in both “Reverse” and “Drive” within 1 meter of approaching an object, under 6 mph. The center MMI® display provides an rear view of the parking situation. This virtual overview helps increase driver comfort when parking or leaving – especially in tight spaces.
