You can connect your Audi to your world with available Audi connect PRIME, an intuitive system that integrates sought-after information like Google Earth™ imagery, weather conditions and traffic information. The RS 5 Coupe offers standard Audi connect CARE assistance and security services with a limited time subscription.
Audi smartphone interface
This standard feature enables Apple CarPlay® or Google™ Android Auto™ interface, allowing you to control and integrate your compatible smartphone’s features, such as navigation and select third-party apps. It can be controlled through the MMI® interface, voice control system or steering wheel controls.
Audi pre sense® basic
In the case of an impending collision, Audi pre sense® basic can intervene to prepare the vehicle for impact. This process includes pretensioning the front safety belts, precharging the brakes, beginning to close the side windows and sunroof, and starting to shift the seats upright.
Audi pre sense® city
Audi pre sense® city can help detect stationary vehicles and pedestrians in front at speeds of up to 52 mph. It can also warn the driver of an imminent collision, initiate emergency braking and even help stop the vehicle under 25 mph.
Audi side assist with Audi pre sense® rear
In addition to initiation of emergency measures like pretensioning front safety belts and partial closing of the sunroof and side windows, Audi side assist with Audi pre sense® rear uses radar sensors and optical warnings to help alert you if a vehicle is in your blind spot by monitoring vehicles to the side and rear, based on your own speed.
Audi adaptive cruise control with Traffic jam assist
This available feature helps maintain a set distance from the vehicle in front, including braking and accelerating as needed. The stop & go function allows for automatic braking to a standstill and will resume with the flow of traffic. Traffic jam assist provides gentle acceleration, braking and steering guidance when traveling at speeds between 0 and 40 mph.
Traffic sign recognition
Traffic sign recognition is a camera-based system that helps detect speed limit signs and displays the information in the Audi virtual cockpit. For example, current detected speed limits are shown in the instrument display. Additionally, the system evaluates various driving conditions and no passing zones as well as school and construction zones.
Audi active lane assist
Using the camera mounted in front of the rear view mirror housing and sophisticated processing software, available Audi active lane assist observes lane markings and can provide gentle steering wheel warning vibrations if it is determined that the vehicle is approaching the edge of the lane without signaling.
Rear cross traffic assist
Included with available Audi side assist with Audi pre sense® rear, this feature uses rear sensors to help scan the area behind the vehicle and sides while the standard rear view camera helps provide additional visibility when backing up, as in reversing out of a perpendicular parking space. In critical situations, a warning tone and brake jolt can be applied to help prompt the driver to stop the vehicle.
