It can be controlled through the MMI® interface, voice control system or steering wheel controls.
You can connect your Audi to your world with available Audi connect®, an intuitive system that integrates sought-after information like Google Earth™ imagery, weather conditions and traffic information. Audi pre sense® basic
In the case of an impending collision, Audi pre sense® basic can intervene to prepare the vehicle for impact. This process includes pretensioning the front safety belts, precharging the brakes, beginning to close the side windows and sunroof, and starting to shift the seats upright.
Audi pre sense® city
Audi pre sense® city can help detect stationary vehicles and pedestrians in front at speeds of up to 52 mph, warn the driver of an imminent collision, initiate emergency braking and can even help stop the vehicle under 25 mph.
Audi side assist with Audi pre sense® rear
In addition to initiation of emergency measures like pretensioning the front safety belts and partial closing of the side windows and panoramic sunroof, available Audi side assist with Audi pre sense® rear uses radar sensors and optical warnings to help alert you if a vehicle is in your blind spot by monitoring vehicles to the side or rear, based on your own speed.
Rear cross traffic assist
This available feature, part of the Premium Plus trim level, uses rear sensors to help scan the area behind and to the sides of the vehicle while a rear view camera helps provide additional visibility when backing up, as in reversing out of a perpendicular parking space. In critical situations, a warning tone and brake jolt can be applied to prompt the driver to stop the vehicle.
Vehicle exit warning
Available with the Premium Plus trim level, Vehicle exit warning uses illuminated LED lights to help alert you and the front passenger to vehicles or cyclists approaching from behind when the doors are opened.
Audi park steering assist
An available system, Audi park steering assist can automatically steer the car into parallel or perpendicular parking spaces. It uses ultrasonic sensors located in the front and rear bumpers and on the sides. The only actions required of the driver while parking are accelerating, shifting gears and braking, and the system can handle the steering.
